Article- WHO IS MUHAMMAD (Peace Be Upon Him)?
WHO IS MUHAMMAD (Peace Be Upon Him) ?
If you ask the non Muslims "Who is Muhammad?", Most of them will say "He is god of Muslims" or "son of God" or "form of God". But very few will say "He is messenger of God".
What is prophethood?
God who created men did not leave them as they are. He also has accepted the work of guiding them right.
How to show people the right path?
If God appears in front of mankind to guide us right, we can't be able to bear that. Because no one can approach Him for He is highly powerful.
Suppose God appears in front of us to guide us, men will say "O Lord! Though You are in the form of man, You have all the powers and ability. So You will practice them all easily. But we have been created weak. Then how can we practice Your orders?"
So God decided to select suitable one among men to give guidance to whole mankind through him by making him example to the other people.
And no any prophets of God have preached to worship them. Rather they said to worship only God and serve Him alone. For this work, they did not expect any benefits from others. They sacrificed their whole life for this work.
God says in Qur'an
"Say (O prophet), 'I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.'" (18:110)
May peace be upon all the prophets.
