Here are some pictures of the Earth Day anchor charts I made and will be using this week.  :)








Here are some of the activities we did.
After reading the poem Green Giant by Jack Prelutsky the students drew pictures of what they thought the green giant looked liked based on the descriptions in the poem.





 
Using small paper plates and blue and green tissue paper the students made a picture of the earth to go along with the Earth Day poem. 

The Earth Day poem says:

Everyday is Earth Day,
if it's cold or wet or hot,
Pitch in to save the planet.
It's the only one we've got!
