Lately I have been talking with my class about how important it is to read with expression and fluency. I’ve read a book to my students like a robot would read. Then, I read the same book with expression. The students were able to hear how much of a difference it makes to pay attention to the punctuation marks while reading. I made these posters to help remind my students how to read a sentence with the different punctuation marks.
